Best Annual Pass In Singapore You Should Consider

In Singapore there aint many annual passes to consider, we had Universal Studios on this list but it has since disappeared! They don’t sell annual passes anymore (sad face) and we would love for them to be back on this list again. Now with that said, we have the list of annual passes and EV charger recommendations because that is what this site was about anyway.

Gardens By The Bay (Friends of the Garden)

Gardens By The Bay is located in a great location and you will be able to access this attraction easily by car but with public transport, it is currently not as convenient but will change in the coming years with the new train station and transport accessibility being improved. This attraction will also change every few months and will keep you interested throughout the year. It is also well-priced and affordable for locals and visitors, starting at $22 for entry into the flower dome for a year. It is an easy buy for me and I would recommend you to get it for yourself!

Parking & EV Charging: With 2 hours of free parking at any gardens by the bay car parks, you will be able to enjoy Marina Bay Sands and other attractions nearby. This membership is worth the car park fees you will be paying if you park and visit the locations often enough. It also has chargers at most of their car parks so you get free parking every day to charge your EV at these locations!

Conclusion: With free parking at prime locations around Marina Bay, I would consider this membership as it is reasonably priced and you would enjoy it if you are a garden lover.

Cable Car Faber Peak (Faber License Membership)

The cable car in Singapore is relatively straightforward, they are a good way to get into Sentosa and enjoy some awesome views. These 2 lines have great value for their price, the Sentosa Line and Mount Faber Line are the only 2 rides you can get on. You get discounts off restaurants at Mount Faber and around Sentosa with this annual pass so it is worth it if you dine frequently enough at these establishments. With the annual pass costing you $45, you will be happy to note that with the pass they will reward you with a free 500g birthday cake on your birthday month! (Worth $35.30) You have to remember to make a booking a few days in advance to get this offer though! Another thing you need to take note of is that during peak hours these lines can get busy so it isn’t worth taking the cable car during these periods with long queues.

Parking & EV Chargers: Free parking when dining at Abora (No free parking on weekends though) and around Faber Peak Public Carparks. There are no EV chargers around unless you park inside Sentosa which will require some walking before arriving at the stations.

Conclusion: Purchase when you feel like it! You will receive incredible value if you dine at Abora during your birthday month and get a free birthday cake that would cover your annual pass subscription! ($38.25)

Singapore Zoological Gardens (Friends of Wildlife)

Singapore Zoo has always exhibited animals in naturalistic, ‘open’ exhibits with hidden barriers, moats, and glass between the animals and visitors. It houses the largest captive colony of orangutans in the world. It’s a great place that families with kids will enjoy, it will be tiring to run around the whole day so buying an annual pass could be a good idea! The Mandai Zoo is expensive and this annual pass has a hefty pricetag on it, starting at $195, this is not for the fainthearted.

Parking & EV Chargers: Free parking with annual pass, if not it is capped at $10 / day which isn’t that bad for its location. EV Chargers are readily available at both the Zoo and Bird Paradise locations, I highly recommend parking at the slow chargers to enjoy the charging sessions without having to come out of the zoo to move the vehicle when the battery is full.

Conclusion: An expensive membership but worth every penny if you have children and can visit the park every month or so.

Sentosa Islander Membership

With many attractions in Sentosa, wouldn’t you like to enjoy it all with discounts? To achieve this membership, you will need to have spent $400 on eligible shops in Sentosa within a 1 year period and as time goes by it will require you to spend another $400 within a 1-year timeframe. I’ll say that this is hard to achieve but with the current situation, I see that going to Universal Studios will easily get you to spend a few hundred already.

Parking & EV Charging: What’s the point of this membership? I could only see this as useful if you drive a lot, parking is expensive and so it will add up if you visit often. With this membership, you will get 4 hours of free parking at most car parks on the Island. Do check before parking at the right car park though, it is also best to stay at one car park the entire day as there are some calculations involved when car park hopping. You will also be able to get your car charged at beach station so that would be great for EV vehicle owners here.

Visit the website for more information.

Conclusion: One of the average membership schemes I’ve used and it is only useful if you drive as you get free entry into the island via monorail or drive-in and free parking on the island. With the average discounts you will get buying attraction tickets with this membership, it could be useful if you love visiting Sentosa Island.
