Nissan Leaf drive modes review:

Normal drive mode: Drives well with quick acceleration and smooth cruising on the highway.

Economy mode: Average regenerative braking while cruising and very slow acceleration on the pedals.

E-Pedal : This mode is also known as the 1 pedal shift where the driver only use 1 pedal to operate the acceleration and braking of the car. It has high regenerative barking (Car comes to a complete stop) and very slow acceleration on the pedals similar to Economy mode. Positive points is you wont need to step on the brake pedals most of the time if you release the acceleration pedals early.

Brake-mode: Similar to sport mode where there is a high pull back when you release the gas pedal and high torque during acceleration. Used when going downhill! (Helps to charge the battery quicker than eco mode too)
