Charge + has been very annoying in the sense that they upfront take a deposit without asking for it. I initially was taken aback by the fact that they will not allow you to charge with a credit card or have a pay-what-you-use model. They instead have an e-wallet system that you need to top up to be able to charge your vehicle.
Charge+ will not work on 24 February 2023 (Fri), between 9am and 6pm to enhance our features to better serve our EV drivers.
The above email was sent out today to warn users about this major change in their system. It’s strange that a company has to completely stop services for a whole day to be able to do this. Hope you have enough charge in your vehicle on this day!
You may use P-Up Mobile charger if you are in search of a backup plan. I use P-up frequently in the past and I’ve since stopped using their service and charged more with the public slow chargers instead.
