Tampines Ikea is doing its best in providing chargers for EV users, it was my first charge as I was desperate. If you stay near this location. You should totally get an EV, just visit Ikea for a meal and charge up for free!
Parking
With 6 parking lots near the entrance reserved for EVs, you will find it rare to find all 6 parked with EVs. However, in the future when Singapore has more EVs this may not be enough parking at Tampines Ikea. Best of all, parking is FREE! Unlike Alexendra Ikea, they do not need parking coupons to be able to enjoy free parking.
Charging
With 6 Chargers (6 kwh) servicing 8 parking lots, charging is not easily available on weekends or peak-hours of the day. Weekdays and off-peak hours are the best to ensure parking and charging are available. Only Type 2 is available at this station.

Ikea Tampines Charger has loads of things to do. Tampines Ikea has shopping, restaurant, and toilets available. With Giant, Courts Mega Store, and other small shops nearby it is a really good place to park, charge and do your shopping.
