If you are a frequent public charger user, you would have noticed that what I mentioned before has completely changed! Now we are having to deal with SP Power increasing prices fast and furious as you can see from the image below.
Shell Recharge prices stayed relatively the same while SP Power has been increasing their charging rates now to $0.594/kWh. If you like to use the fast chargers, which I don’t use often, you will be paying $0.648/kWh! Significant considering fast chargers are available most of the time. Even though charging stations are increasing prices, do not forget that it is still a pro that you get an upper hand on car park parking as compared to the usual petrol vehicle.
