Singapore University of Technology and Design is a location that isn’t convenient by any means unless you are heading there. The nearest event space is Singapore Expo and it is still quite a far walk away. If you drive an EV, you may only come here if you are desperate or you are thinking of coming to SUTD already. If so, read on!
Parking
With 2 reserved parking lot near the entrance, it is really convenient. So far I’ve been at this location once and there isn’t any electric vehicle parked at this location. These lots are at the basement carpark and they can be a little confusing but it is relatively good.
Charging
With 1 Charger (6 kwh) servicing 2 parking lots, you may not be able to charge easily. There is also a Type 1 charger onsite but I would believe there are very little cars compatible with this plug. Point to note is that there is no APP support to check their availability status but there seem to be a possibility for an implementation soon as there is a strange device beside the charger that seem to resemble a payment kiosk.
Amenities nearby
I’m not the most familiar with SUTD so here are the details that I could gather from my trip there. There are mostly average food on site and many amenities that are found in a university.
- EV Parking
- Cafes
- Gym
- Toilet
